UiOs Klima- og Miljøfestival is an annual festival.
Covering topics relating to the climate and our environment, Its goal is to engage and challenge the audience through talks and activities. This year, the topic is the controversial notion of plant consciousness. The topic challenges us to hold plantlife in higher regard, and to recognize the true extent of what “life on our planet” entails.
For this project we explored rotoscoping and dividing-aggregating walkers in TouchDesigner (Cred: ciphrd) to generate motion visuals that highlight behavior patterns in plants that are usually hidden to us.
